Shipping and Receiving/Forklift Operator at Accentuate Staffing

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading manufacturer in the Dunn area who is hiring a Shipping and Receiving/Forklift Operator to join their team. This is a great opportunity working day shift.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately document item numbers, batch codes, and pallet tags based on picking forms.
• Inspect pulled products for accuracy and quality.
• Schedule delivery appointments and coordinate with truck lines during the Shipping/Receiving Manager’s absence.
• Handle customer pickup inquiries and manage product availability communications.
• Maintain adequate warehouse supplies and oversee inventory stock rotation.
• Conduct accurate cycle counts and ensure proper lot tracking for warehouse operations.
• Identify and properly manage mislabeled, damaged, or defective products, ensuring they are cleaned, discarded, or quarantined as required.
• Check in drivers, prepare shipment paperwork, and seal loaded trailers.
• Collaborate with supervisors to maintain inventory accuracy and product availability for customers.
• Record incoming materials, including cans, end cartons, sugar, and other products.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a shipping/receiving role or on a loading dock.
• At least 2 years of computer experience, including data entry and familiarity with Microsoft Office; ERP experience is a plus.
• Must have at least 1-2 years of forklift experience
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• MUST live within 15 miles of Dunn, NC
