ABOUT THE ROLE
Identifies current and future customer requirements relating to planning, production, and program launch by establishing and maintaining highly organized records and personal rapport with actual customers and suppliers. Provides product, service, or material planning, and performance information by answering questions and requests internally and externally.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
- Consulting with logistics, accounting, engineering, suppliers and customers, and other professional personnel.
- Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff.
- Prepares sales and accounting reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and application trends.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Continuously uses computer software (internal ERP system) and fluid / comfortable in operating a computer.
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer"s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting
correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution. - Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
- Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF POSITION
- The person in this position frequently communicates with warehouse employees and customers who have inquiries and require directions. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Consistently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.
- Work is in a warehouse environment with concrete floors that has exposure to outside weather conditions.
- Must be able to respond quickly to sounds and respond to moving vehicles.
CANDIDATE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma required.Some education or vocational training in logistic supply, chain management, or warehousing preferred.
- 2 years of prior experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management required.
- Experience in handling goods, packing shipments, and tracking inventory required.
- High level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and present information to customers, suppliers, vendors, management, employees.
- Microsoft Office tools and WMS/ ERP experience required
