Responsibilities:

Perform all shipping, receiving, warehouse, and material handling duties using BAAN radio frequency.
Communicate warehouse requirements through written and verbal communications with work teams and functional areas.
Initiate and lead problem-solving groups using internal personal and decision-making skills.
Ensure accuracy of shipments and receipts, maintaining material movement systems and completing proper paperwork and documentation.
Ensure timely movement of raw materials and finished goods.
Maintain and improve inventory accuracy.
Load and unload tractor-trailers to meet customer requirements.
Verify completion of advanced shipping notice transmissions.
Contact carriers and arrange for surface expedited shipments.
Coordinate when shipments are staged.
Meet regular and emergency truck driving responses for manufacturing.

Qualifications:

2+yrs of experience in material handling, shipping, receiving in a fast paced production environment
Knowledge of order-pulling, storing, loading, unloading, and staging.
Familiarity with scanning system Radio Frequency (RF).
Ability to obtain a lift truck license
Ability to lift and move heavy cartons (70 to 100 lbs.).
High school diploma or equivalent.

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
