This position is 100% onsite at our Poway, CA office.
The hourly compensation for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 hourly.
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk Sr. position requires a U.S Person or a person who can qualify for a Department of State or Department of Commerce License.
Position Summary:
As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk Sr., you will work within the stockroom, ensuring efficient stock replenishment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
The responsibilities of this position is to perform the procedures involved with
- Receiving/Shipping of products.
- Packages finished product for shipment.
- Assembles products and kits of ESDS materials for work orders in a cleanroom environment.
- Reconciles completed work orders.
- Handles accurate data input into MRP system for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Conducts inventory count Cycle Counts and research as needed for discrepancies.
- Orders stock room supplies.
- Maintains accuracy of paperwork and documentation pertaining to shipments such as: creating and printing shipping labels, including international shipments, commercial invoices and other documents as needed.
- Performs quality assurance checks, verification, and accounting audits as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness in the shipping area and other workspaces.
- Maintains organized work area.
- Follows up on any pending items in a timely manner.
- Performs all other stockroom related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Key Position Accountabilities:
This position reports to the Buyer/Planner and will interface with production and quality personnel. This is a critical position within the organization since materials handling and shipping are critical in achieving the revenue goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- 2-5 years of experience in stock room and shipping/receiving preferred
- 6+ months of experience in warehouse or kitting/assembly experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is preferable
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
