Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Cenergy International

Following well defined procedures and with normal supervision: Perform functions related to shipping and receiving verify and process incoming materials; move material to Receiving Inspection; resolve problems; prepare material for shipment via packaging, crating, palletizing, strapping, etc.; prepare bills-of-lading and shipping documents; enter computer transactions and maintain good housekeeping and a safe area. May be required to make pick-ups and deliveries using company vehicles. Must be available for overtime and occasional Saturdays.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Verify incoming material and supplies for processing into receiving system. Enter associated computer transactions.
Deliver material and associated paperwork to receiving inspection area and supplies to their requesting departments.
Prepare materials for shipment, including boxing, crating, palletizing, strapping, weighing and preparing bills of lading. Distribute completed shippers as required. Frequent interaction with export compliance personnel.
Log receipts, returns and shipments in the appropriate spreadsheets.
Load and unload vehicles, manually or with forklift.
Follow company safety and PPE requirements. Maintain safe work areas and good housekeeping.
Use company van for pick-ups and deliveries. (Requires valid driver s license).
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager.



Qualifications and Education Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with computerized shipping and receiving systems in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience with material handling equipment, digital weigh-counting scales, commercial freight bills, and UPS and FEDEX shipments preferred. Experience in palletizing and packaging preferred.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.50 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
