About the Job
Role
As a Shipping & Receiving Worker (also known as Shipping Clerk, Receiving Associate), you'll be responsible for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing and arranging materials for transportation, and managing the shipment process in a safe and accurate manner. You'll also handle tasks such as assembling, addressing, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise/material, and shipping merchandise onsite or transporting to outside locations.

- Experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
- Proficiency in quality inspection, packaging, and basic computer skills.
- Forklift and overhead crane operating knowledge, with a valid forklift license.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with vendors and drivers positively.
- Class C Drivers License with clean driver record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work well under minimal supervision.
