Primary Job Duties
- Performing routine maintenance checks on Forklift and reporting any malfunctions or issues to maintenance supervisor.
- Forklift drivers are responsible for moving goods, materials, or products onto and from trucks, or other storage areas.
- Ensuring a safe work environment is a key responsibility. Forklift drivers must adhere to safety regulations, operate equipment safely, and report any issues promptly.
- Coordinating with warehouse or facility staff to understand priorities, delivery schedules, and any special handling requirements for materials.
- Adhering to industry regulations and company policies related to skid steer operation, safety, and workplace practices.
- Organize and clean the warehouse, making sure material is properly stored in its correct area.
- Ensure all materials are stored at the correct height of 5'.
- Maintaining, organizing, and cleaning the warehouse, making sure material is properly stored in its correct area.
- Enter data into Sales Force Software for when creating a Receiving Report and for Shipments when shipping material out.
- Ensure you keep documents together and organized for each inbound and outbound load.
- Must know all of the Receiving Materials and then know how CRP classifies the material for Outbound Shipments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)- Ex. GED
- Ability to follow instructions
- Must have at least 1 year of Experience Operating Heavy Equipment .
- Must have at least 1 year Experience in Data Entry .
Preferred Skills
- Forklift Operator Experience
- Skid Steer Operator Experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs regularly and load and unload trailers.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiar with using a Razor blade and other cutting tools.
- Able to stay focus and not easily distracted
- Ability to maintain precision in cutting.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
PPE Requirements:
Must be okay with wearing the following PPE at all times while operating the Forklift Operator.
- Safety Shoes (Steel Toe or Composite Toe)
- Prolonged periods (10+ hours) of standing and walking. This job is 95% standing/walking and 5% or less sitting.
- Must be able to grasp, adjust, pull, and mold items with your hands.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, such as lifting climbing, stooping, standing, kneeling, pushing and/or pulling.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time with little to no assistance.
- Must be able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environments.
- Must be able to Operate Heavy Machinery and Heavy Equipment.
- Must be able to work around hot moving parts.
- Must be able to work around sharp objects.
- Must be able to clearly communicate with the team.
Pace and Scheduling:
- This job is fast-paced and tiring work,
- This job is 4 days a week 10 hour shifts.
- OT is required as needed to complete orders.
Additional Notes:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have access to reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must have the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Must have a strong attention to detail.
- Must maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations at all times.
- Must be willing to Cross Train on other jobs with adequate training.
