Titan Florida, LLC has an immediate opening for a Shipping Manager for our Pennsuco Cement Division located in Medley, FL. This exempt position will report directly to the Plant Manager. The Shipping Manager’s primary responsibilities are to oversee and optimize shipping operations, covering bulk and package in the cement plant. This role should ensure seamless operations while prioritizing safety, environmental stewardship, customer satisfaction and people development. As such, the manager will drive operational efficiency, foster effective communication with logistics and sales team, and lead initiatives in continuous improvement, including, but limiting to digitalization to ensure alignment with the company’s vision and critical success factors.
Responsibilities:- Ensure safe and environmentally compliant operations across bulk and bagged cement shipping areas. Plan and execute for needed improvements timely.
- Responsible for people and teams development, and organizational improvements.
- Responsible for participating in the development of periodic forecasts of manufacturing efficiencies and costs (budgets, weekly and daily production runs) and execution.
- Interface with customers and truck drivers to report issues with loading and any incident investigations
- Work Closely and daily with Sales and Logistics team to rectify any order issues and delays in loading or cement availability
- Ensuring the rail cars are managed and the load out (spouts and all scales) are available at all times
- Work with the maintenance team to plan PM and Predictive maintenance activities to have availability and reliability of the equipment over 90%
- Responsible for reviewing shipping operating performances to ensure adherence to corporation technical plans, quality standards, and optimum production practices. Monitor and improve key performance metrics (KPIs) for loadout operations.
- Responsible for developing product and manufacturing improvement proposals, digitalization of the facilities to improve safety and efficiency, presenting cost justifications for these and other capital improvements to the Production Manager.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with Capital Budget Plans.

- Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related business is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of logistics, warehousing & distribution-related activities; including knowledge of rail & motor carrier transportation & knowledge of plant production activities.
- Creative problem solver: including the ability to prioritize & effectively resolve multiple problems/demands on time.
- Team player.

The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, confined space, outside weather conditions, low lighting, artificial lighting, and explosives. The employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, proximity to electrical equipment, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
