What You Will Be Doing:
Shipping Lead
- Leads a team and conveys Management's expectations and direction.
- Forms part of the working team and leads by example.
- Encourages all members of the production team to stay on task and remain at their workstation.
- Ensures that all employees are wearing the proper PPE and are following all safety procedures.
- Ensures that all quality testing/checks are performed and documented per the Trulite quality standard.
- Ensures the completion of the daily work schedule, communicating with other department supervisors as needed.
- Communicates with maintenance immediately if any equipment issue arises.
- Communicates with the Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager on any issue affecting the safety, quality, and/or productivity of the crew.
- Adheres to Company Policies as a team leader and conveys to team
- Coordinates the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as inspectors, machine setters, and fabricators.
- Demonstrates equipment operations and safety procedures to new employees or assigns employees to experienced workers for training.
- Drives a mindset of quality in a cost-conscious manner with the production associates.
- Implements training plans for production associates that maximize workforce capability.
- Observes work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
- Recommends ideas to production management to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.

Backup Class A CDL Driver
- Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complies with all required statutory, regulatory requirements, and company policy.
- Completes appropriate paperwork and forms, including but not limited to manifest, shipping and receiving documents.
- Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
- Loading and unloading of all finished goods and raw ingredients. Secure load during transit, including blocking and bracing.
- Driver must be able to utilize and/or learn the computerized system order to complete all transactions of shipments.

- Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, transporting materials to and from specified destinations.
- Distributes receipts for loads picked up.
- Occasionally collects payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges.
- Maintains telephone and/or radio contact with supervisor and or Transportation Manager to receive delivery instructions.
- Assists Customers with the offloading process.
- Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
- Communicates with customers, supervisors, and other employees effectively.
- Uses good judgment in making decisions, in emergency and routine situations.
Skills You Bring:
- 2 years of leadership experience or training
- CDL Class A
- Knowledge of equipment within in the designated department
- Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization
- Ability to teach/mentor team members in regards to processes, procedures, and conduct.
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Basic computer and e-mail skills
- Must pass pre-employment screenings to include criminal background check and drug screen,.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
