Shipping Forklift Operator - Spherion

Spherion Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Night Shift Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate processing of shipments, and maintaining inventory integrity. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and be proficient in using various tools such as forklifts.

HOURS: Monday - Friday from 4:30PM - 1AM and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities:
Process incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately.
Verifying counts and ensuring accuracy of warehouse materials.
Driving Forklift.
Perform quality checks on received packages to ensure they meet specifications.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using MRP systems.
Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping and receiving operations.
Know and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.

Working hours: 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM

Skills:
Experience in a food manufacturing warehouse, preferred

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a shipping and receiving required.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
Must be able to lift 50 ILBS.
Ability to operate forklifts and reach trucks safely (certification may be required).
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of packaging standards and procedures is beneficial.
A team player who can communicate effectively with colleagues.
Experience in inventory and record keeping.
Must have strong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft word, Excel, and Outlook)
