Shipping Clerk - Job Description
Team Member 1: Time: 08:00A to 05:00P M-F
Team Member 2: Time: 9:00A to 06:00P Tue- Sat
Job Summary:
- SAP transactions of work order opening, work order closing, ship confirm and scrap adjustments.
- Verifies and keeps record on incoming material and route to the appropriate departments with the paperwork.
- Proper packaging of shipments to eliminate any shipping damages.
- Accuracy of shipment: part, quantity, dims & weights, shipping address, attention to, all necessary paperwork, etc.,
- Prepare items for shipment and get all the paperwork ready. Bill of landing, Pack slip, commercial invoice, customs papers and carrier tracking.
- Professional communication with our customers and directly all customer enquiries to sales team.
- Analyzes information and evaluates results to solve problems pertaining to the shipment of a product.
- Manages inventory control and cycle counts to maintain accurate warehouse inventory records.
- Participates in Advanced Materials Environmental, Health and Safety Activities such as waste material storage and pick up.
- Willing to work overtime as per business needs.
- Willing to cover for teammates during PTO or unforeseen circumstances.
Description for Internal Candidates:
Primary Duties
- Shipping and receiving internal and external material transfers
- Transport incoming material to 60 Tech
- Leading and managing inventory control and cycle counting
- Support with Leak Fill, Kitting and completing disposition
- Ability to follow cleanroom protocol
- Support with tasks needed by supervisors
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- 2+ years' experience in receiving and shipping
- Stocking inventory and assembling shipping packages
- Cycle counting and inventory maintenance
- Filing and generating routine reports
- Knowledge of EAR requirements
- Some experience with international shipping requirements
Skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment as supervisor dictates
- Self-motivated with good time management skills
- Basic computer skills (proficient in Outlook)
- Good basic math skills
- Good interpersonal communication & written skills
- Counting and reading with high accuracy
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Working Conditions
- Warehouse environment
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and use hand tools to open or break down crates
Other Requirements
- Must be willing to work overtime and occasional weekend work if required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. due to ITAR compliance
Safety Requirements
