Ameraflex Sealing Products (ASP) is a well-established 59-year-old gasket and supply company located in Deer Park, TX that services a wide range of customers within the industrial, petrochemical and OEM markets. We supply standard and custom gaskets and related items as well as proprietary products including SEALON®. The ideal candidate is an energetic individual, a team player, and can provide services necessary for the efficient operation of Ameraflex: This is an In-Person position with operating hours of M-F, 8AM-5PM. This position will report directly to the Quality Control Manager. This is an entry level position with room for growth within the Company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT OR NOT LIMITED TO:
- Make sure paperwork is filled out properly before shipping.
- Packaging of items, i.e., packing orders in boxes, putting things on a pallet, wrapping a pallet, weighing an order.
- Package and process UPS and FedEx freight orders.
- Maintain shipping supply inventory.
- Operate forklift as needed.
- Be a backup for will-call counter when Shipping Manager is on break.
- Train and learn to inspect orders for proper material, thickness, size, prior to shipping.
- Train and learn to check the inspection emails and answer if needed in a timely manner.
- Minimal warehouse experience needed.
- Detail oriented - must have the ability to pay close attention to all details and to reconcile a large amount of information.
- Working knowledge of hoses, gaskets and hydraulics in an industrial environment relating to the petrochemical and refining fields a plus but not required.
- Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel are required.
- Knowledge of ERP software a plus but not required.
- Must be able to read a tape measure and calipers and perform basic mathematics.
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time and pack and move boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Must be able to keep an organized work area.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must be punctual and able to work each day.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Must have reliable transportation
