Shipping Clerk - Nesco Resource, LLC

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with UPS Ground services and operating a stand-up forklift and Cherry Picker. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will play a key role in supporting the efficient flow of goods in our warehouse and ensuring that all shipments are handled with care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, process, and verify UPS Ground shipments, ensuring accurate labeling, documentation, and tracking information.
• Operate a stand-up forklift to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload packages from UPS Ground delivery trucks.
• Maintain inventory control, ensuring products are properly stored, labeled, and tracked in the warehouse.
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
• Verify shipping addresses, package contents, and quantity before dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating equipment.
• Prepare and maintain shipping records, including tracking numbers, shipment dates, and delivery confirmations.
• Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist in the inspection and reporting of damaged goods or discrepancies in shipments.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding shipping and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse roles, specifically with UPS Ground services.
• Valid stand-up forklift certification and proven experience operating forklifts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with team members.
• Knowledge of shipping software and warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
