Job Description
Shipping Clerk is responsible for accurately pulling parts and materials to fulfill customer orders, preparing invoices, and coordinating orders for delivery.
This role ensures effective inventory management, accurate documentation, and maintains a clean and safe workspace. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Process customer orders by preparing parts and supplies for delivery.
Pull and organize materials, placing orders in the designated delivery area.
Generate invoices for parts orders and process completed invoices received from drivers.
Coordinate delivery routes for drivers and interact with drivers, occasionally assisting with deliveries as needed.
Perform inventory counts and reconcile actual stock with computer reports.
Receive and unpack goods, restocking items as necessary.
Process product returns following established procedures and ensure accurate documentation.
Maintain current inventory levels and process purchase orders as required.
Keep workstations, shelves, and the shipping supply area organized and clean.
Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures, using appropriate safety equipment.
Work Environment:
Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations.
Noise levels can be high, requiring awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:30 A.M. To 4:30 P.M.
Occasional overtime may be required based on workload.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role is preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
