Job Description
1. Assign/pick orders
2. Schedule appointments for inbound and outbound trucks
3. Enter data into PMOS
4. Manage/store records according to the Records Management Program
5. Assist with monthly inventory
6. Back-up Inventory Clerk
7. Back-up other Shipping Clerk
8. Enter data into and maintain shipping efficiency spreadsheet
9. Track truck detention
10. Daily production entry
11. Enter movement sheets
12. Sort BOL’s
13. Schedule/arrange delivery trucks
14. Receive inbound packages/supplies scan/complete in Maximo
15. 2nd shift Shipping Clerk to prepare and verify orders for next day
16. Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements
17. Adhere to and enforce all safety and environmental rules and regulations
18. Communicate with scheduler
19. Perform other duties as assigned
QualificationsEducation: High School diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
Related Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Equipment/Software Skills: Proficient (or ability to become proficient) use of Word/Excel and various inventory system.

Additional Information
Schedule: Monday- Friday (2:00pm-10:30pm) with some weekend work and OT.
Physical: Must be able to walk throughout the plant, to include walking and climbing up/downstairs and ladders (portable, fixed). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Sensory: Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)
Mental/Reasoning: Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization
