Duties include:
Guest service: Guest service is the #1 priority here at Skinny Dogz. Our first guest at Skinny Dogz is our team! Supporting our team is the first guest service experience the shift manager provides. They need to set an example for our team to provide our guests with the highest quality service possible
Money Handling and Paperwork: Shift Managers are responsible for the end-of-night paperwork every closing night at the center. The expectation is that drawers are balanced, the safe is counted, and all cash tills are ready for the next business day. Sales numbers must be in the system for the bookkeeper's verification.
Center Cleanliness: Shift Managers need to have a "trust but verify" attitude with the team. Shift managers give the team autonomy in performing their job. Shift Managers check off the cleaning tasks every close and confirm each task is done correctly.
Center Security: Shift Managers are responsible for ensuring center equipment, arcade games, bowling lanes and equipment for those, and kitchen equipment, are being treated right by both guests and team members. Shift Managers are responsible for locking up the center at the night's end and arming the security system before leaving each night.
Team Building: The shift manager should always be looking to elevate the team. Shift managers check in on their team regularly throughout the shift. Ensuring that our team members are supported in their tasks while on shift is part of those check in's. The shift manager will take a teaching and developing role with the team. The shift manager supports each team member who wants to learn and grow. Maintaining professionalism and escalating any issues that need to be addressed towards corrective action.
Requirements
1 year of management experience.
Able to lift 35 pounds.
Can work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays.
Is able to be in and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Must be legally able to sell alcoholic beverages.
1 to 2 years of Point of Sales and money handling experience.
Able to pass a background check
