Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Restaurant Shift Leader. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment. Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and motivate team members during assigned shifts.
• Ensure all staff follows company policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Operational Excellence:
• Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management for restocking.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Customer Service:
• Uphold high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment.
• Shift Management:
• Create and manage employee schedules, considering business needs and staff availability.
• Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Handle customer orders, payments, and any issues that arise during the shift.
• Training and Development:
• Assist in training new team members on company policies and procedures.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance employee performance.
• Identify opportunities for skill development and advancement within the team.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in a leadership role within the restaurant industry.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
4. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling procedures.
