My name is Daniel Mitchell and I'm the Owner/Operator at our Burlington Mall Chick-fil-A. I became an Operator because I wanted to coach and develop people into the best version of themselves and see them succeed in life. Leadership Most of our managers are developed internally from team members. If you work hard and want to move up in our organization, we have a leadership development plan called "Roadmap to Leadership" that trains you on the skills and intangibles required for leadership.

Vacation Pay As a full time manager you can earn paid vacation time equivalent to 1 hour for every 50 worked which typically adds up to somewhere around 1 week of paid vacation a year.

Closed Sunday’s All Chick-fil-A restaurants are closed on Sundays so you can have a day off to spend with family and friends.

At Chick-fil-A, Shift Leaders are responsible for assisting the Leadership team in all aspects of shift management and ensuring that each restaurant guest has an outstanding experience. Shift Leaders are responsible for supervising all staff for an entire shift and may be assigned to open or close the restaurant as the main leader, following established opening and closing procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensures that Team Members follow operational procedures for their area of ownership.
- Ensures that Team Members work at a pace to maintain restaurant's established speed of service guidelines.
- Ensures that workstations are clean at all times.
- Executes proper security and cash handling and control procedures and holds cashiers accountable to adhering to policies and procedures.
- Addresses guest issues that may arise; consults with executive leadership regarding complex issues.
- Maintains a positive working environment and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
- Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to executive leadership for appropriate handling.
- Strictly adheres to all Company policies and procedures.
