About the Job
- Manufacture, assemble, and test New Glenn (GS1) First Stage & Second Stage structure.
- Set up new production work areas, including tooling and equipment.
- Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles.
- Perform second party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control.
- Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicles and subassembly transportation equipment, truck-trailer combinations and other ground support equipment as required.
- Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, height gauges and optical measuring instruments.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD.
- Ability to work off-shift, extended overtime, and weekends if/when vital.
- Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and vision.

Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing & aerospace structures (Sheetmetal)
- Experience in Drilling Aluminum, Composite & Titanium structures.
- Experience in at least one of the following is required: Heavy (Primary
- Structures drilling experience) (Secondary Structures drilling experience)
- Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, understand written work instructions and test procedures.
