THE BASICS

Pay: $42 - $54 per hour

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Benefits: health, dental, vision, disability, a 401(k) plan with company match, generous paid time off (2 weeks to start, with the ability to earn up to 4 weeks), sick time, profit-sharing bonuses paid quarterly, and a $1000 bonus paid after 30 days

YOUR DAY AS A SHEET METAL FABRICATOR - DUCTWORK INSTALLATION Tech

In this role, you'll not only use your expertise to create and shape sheet metal into works of art, but you'll also have the opportunity to oversee a team of talented ductwork installers. As the lead, you'll be responsible for selecting the appropriate materials for each job, ensuring the desired strength and quality. With your masterful cutting and bending skills, you'll shape the sheet metal to the required dimensions, bringing precision and artistry to every project. Following specifications, blueprints, or directions, you'll measure, cut, and weld the pieces together, securing seams and connecting them with rivets, rolls, soldering, or steel screws. To ensure efficiency and accuracy, you'll utilize state-of-the-art machinery and software applications. In addition to your technical skills, you'll also maintain records for projects and repairs, keeping track of the intricacies and accomplishments of each assignment.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A SHEET METAL FABRICATOR - DUCTWORK INSTALLATION TECH

We require:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of an apprenticeship or a three-year, in-company training program
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Ability to complete sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision
• Ability to safely use machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Great communication skills
• Certification is preferred
