Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
Liaison between Engineering/Programming and Fabrication.
Set up and operation of sheet metal equipment: Fiber Laser, Brake press, Folding Machines, Shears.
Establish standards and procedures that will improve the throughput of the sheet metal department.
Program CNC machines to push the envelope of what they are capable of.
Cross functional collaboration with Engineering and Programming to help solve design challenges with practical solutions that are within our potential.
Initiate a line of defense in quality by performing QA/QC checks on fabricated parts as they leave the Sheet Metal department and move to downstream processes.
Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on the latest technology and procedures.
Qualifications:
TRUMPH MACHINE EXPERIENCE IS A MUST HAVE
Ability to work in AutoCAD, Inventor, or any 2D/3D CAD software
Knowledge of CAM Software such as TruTops Boost, MasterCAM, SigmaNest
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating sheet metal fabrication equipment (5+ years preferred)
Strong understanding of mechanical and construction principles
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work orders
Ability to measure with a high degree of precision across spans from 1 inch to 12 feet
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
