Job Title: SharePoint Developer & Subject Matter Expert
Location: Tulsa, OK
Position Type: Contract - 6-12 months with possible extensions
Interview Process: Phone followed by Face-to-Face
Rate: DOE (W2/1099/C2C)
SharePoint Developer & Subject Matter Expert to participate in initiatives for ongoing SharePoint project work as it is deployed throughout the organization. The client develops and deploys customized SharePoint 2013 solutions following best practice software development processes for the SharePoint and Microsoft technology stack. The scope of work will cover Collaboration, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, and Business Intelligence.
As a SharePoint SME to the business you will:
• Assist clients with business requirements and solution approach, knowing when SharePoint is not the right solution for a problem and proposing alternate solutions.
• Estimate solutions and communicate risks and challenges of a potential SharePoint initiative.
• Work with users to expand the use of SharePoint to address business issues.
• Train others in the organization with SharePoint knowledge at a level of understanding appropriate to their job function.
• Produce end-user and technical documentation.
Technical work will entail:
• Designing SharePoint workflows, out of the box web parts, and other enterprise site collection features (Excel services, forms services, etc)
• Develop master page and layout page layouts, custom web parts, custom lists, and custom content types.
• Create well designed and reusable objects.
• Perform code reviews.
Client team needs an expert with a deep technical and architectural understanding of all aspects of SharePoint, Object Oriented design, and implementation of SharePoint.
Expertise needs to include:
• .NET Framework (Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET) and other web development tools (JavaScript, etc...)
• Powershell
• SharePoint Designer
• Infopath
• Information Architecture & Taxonomy.
• Knowledge management.
