Contributions:The SharePoint Administrator will be conversant in all technical areas of the program and will ensure those efforts are well integrated and support the overall goals of the program. The SharePoint Administrator will possess the ability to communicate at all levels, including government leads, key stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
As a SharePoint Administrator, you will play a major role in developing, deploying, and supporting our customer’s internal business web application. When the situation presents itself, you’ll be part of the project team that defines, develops and deploys new capabilities.
- Administer, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online environment, including sites, libraries, lists, and permissions.
- Develop custom solutions, workflows, and applications using SharePoint Online, SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other related technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SharePoint solutions.
- Lead the migration process from SharePoint 2016/2019 to SharePoint Online, ensuring data integrity, security, and minimal disruption to users.
- Implement best practices for SharePoint governance, security, and compliance.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and other team members.
- Build client trust and respect, establish client relationships, and develop rapport with client.
- Participate and engage in all team meetings.
- Document best practices and operational procedures.
- Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment.
Required
- This position will require travel to the client site one time per week in Bethesda.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience.
- Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong development skills in SharePoint Online, including experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST API.
- In-depth knowledge of SharePoint architecture, features, and capabilities.
- Experience with SharePoint administration tasks, such as site provisioning, user management, and content management.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration and automation.
- Experience with migration tools and methodologies for migrating from SharePoint 2016/2019 to SharePoint Online, e.g., ShareGate.
- Experience developing and maintaining Nintex Forms and Workflows in SharePoint 2016/2019.
- Familiarity with Office 365 services and integration with SharePoint Online.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate or similar certification.
- ITIL 4 certification.
- Knowledge of hybrid SharePoint environments and on-premises SharePoint configurations.
- Familiarity with third-party SharePoint solutions and integrations.
- Experience developing custom SharePoint applications using C#/.NET.
Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $145,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
