Texas Instruments (TI) is searching for a detail-oriented person with excellent follow-through skills who is able to maintain confidentiality, have fun and be highly effective in a team environment. Individual must be able to communicate well with all levels of management.
The Shareholder Administrator directly interacts with shareholders, both institutional and individual, as well as TI executives. Administratively supports VP of Investor Relations. This includes creation of high-impact PowerPoint presentations, creation and maintenance of Excel databases, planning and coordination of logistics for multi-city investor meetings with TI executives, maintain Investor Relations calendar across multiple conferences for TI executives and, IR staff. Coordinate earnings release draft distribution and feedback process. Consolidate and distribute analyst research, support annual shareholders meeting, coordinate Investor events. Front-line position working with shareholders of TI.
While not all inclusive, responsibilities of this role include:
+ Targeting strategy: Key in the development of creating a targeting plan for TI Executives with Institutional investors using multiple tools to evaluate position and potential position in TI as a shareholder.
+ Budget: Responsible for making sure the invoices received are reviewed for accuracy and sent for payment in a timely manner using SAP. Work with vendors ahead of time to evaluate price increases for proper budgeting for the quarter/year.
+ Shareholder Maintenance: Serves as primary interface and partner to Computershare (TI’s transfer agent), handle all Shareholder requests that are received including, escheatment, stock certificate retrieval, verification of stocks and any research needed to help resolve a shareholder issue. Mailing of annual reports
+ Office Management: Responsible for making sure the office machinery is running properly and supplies are stocked for the office.
+ Project Management: Manage varies projects such as Investor engagement both internal and external with TI Executives including scheduling and travel, Annual Shareholder Meeting, Annual Report distribution and invoicing, Rivel Perception Survey.
+ Contract Maintenance: Responsible for reviewing and tracking contracts with IR vendors.
+ Earnings: Responsible for capturing edits using DM from executive meetings and feedback process, distribution of earnings release, managing Q&A during call and scheduling analyst/investor follow-up calls after earnings releases
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
+ Bachelors degree in Liberal Arts, Interdisciplinary studies, or related degree program
+ 5 years of experience
+ Strong communications capabilities, including writing (grammar, spelling, vocabulary), editing and proofreading highly proficient in Windows Office products, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
+ Demonstrated experience in fundamental mathematical skills for determination of financial metrics
Preferred qualifications:
+ Ability to handle confidential information with extreme discretion. Professional representation of TI to important investors.
+ Create Excel databases, including data linked to 3 rd party databases.
+ Coordinate complex travel and meeting schedules, including calling investors to request unsolicited meetings, coordinating travel arrangements with TI flight operations as well as commercial air carriers, and scheduling with TI executives and administrative support.
* + Expertise using productivity software tools in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel), SharePoint and SAP
