Position Summary:
We are a member-owned holding company dedicated to empowering mutual banks to better serve their communities. Currently, we are seeking a passionate Shared Service Loan Specialist to join our team remotely. We operate in Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Indiana.
As a Shared Service Loan Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our member banks by managing mortgage and consumer loan servicing tasks. This includes onboarding new loans, processing payments, maintaining escrow services, and ensuring quality assurance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle setup, processing, and tracking of mortgage and consumer loan payments, both automatic and paper.
- Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with customers, member banks, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor policy status and insurance coverage for loans, ensuring timely premium payments and accurate information.
- Manage escrow accounts, process real estate tax payments, and assist customers with related inquiries.
- Coordinate insurance claims processes and mitigate potential risks through quality reviews and compliance checks.
- Stay updated on residential and consumer loan servicing rules and regulations to maintain department policies and procedures.
- Oversee construction loan servicing processes and lead various projects related to loan servicing shared services.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of loan servicing experience, preferably with mortgage servicing knowledge.
- Strong understanding of lending laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Physical Environment:
