Services Project Manager - Musco Sports Lighting

About the Job
The Musco Warranty Team is currently seeking a Services Project Manager to work from our Oskaloosa office. This position will focus on reviewing, determining, and implementing best methods to deliver service and rectify large product situations to meet customer’s expectations by utilizing the best economical means. This position will also provide management and R&D with product concerns and recommendations on existing and new product for long-term reliability. What you will do as a Services Product Manager:
- Determine scope, size, method of repair/replacement, and timing of large recall/upgrade hardware, software, and firmware type projects
- Determine service needs and locate/hire outside Service Contractors or Musco Technicians to meet these needs
- Track progress of project and report back status to management teams
- Maintain contact with customer throughout the process of repairs
- Evaluate customers' problems with the purpose of preventing reoccurrences
- Provide feedback to other service teams on findings and new product/issues
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Sales, Engineering, and others on production and quality findings to prevent reoccurrence
- Provide support for internal and external customers on Error or Oversights to correct Musco issues in the field in a timely manner
- Review Pole Structure Inspections and determine access or concerns for existing poles and our Sports Cluster Remote product
- Review Control Summaries on new projects utilizing existing controls and provide feedback on whether they can be reused and any concerns with reusing them
- Be a resource for other teams on new troubleshooting or uncommon issues. Provide training and troubleshooting guides for these issues
- Other duties as assigned
What you need to be successful:
- Minimum Associates Degree in a technical related field, or 3+ years experience in related field
- Experience with project management and technical customer support is a plus
- Electrical/Controls knowledge a plus
- Vast knowledge of Musco products
- Knowledge of Musco systems and services (SB, Vantage, CLC)
- Ability to prioritize issues/projects; strong organizational skills with attention to detail; multi-task
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including phone skills
- Experience working and negotiating with contractors
- Customer Service, Team, and Goal oriented
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle pressure while multi-tasking.
- Windows experience; proficient knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software (Word, Excel)
- Ability to research and report findings; strong reporting background
Other Special Requirements:
- Travel up to 30% may be required
