Job Description:
As a ServiceNow Developer specializing in IT Service Management (ITSM), you will play a pivotal role in advancing our IT service delivery capabilities through the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Your primary focus will be on configuring and customizing ITSM modules to streamline processes and align with industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
- ServiceNow Configuration and Customization: Design and implement ITSM solutions, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Catalog. Customize ServiceNow modules to meet ITIL best practices and organizational requirements.
- Workflow Automation: Develop and optimize workflow processes to automate IT service delivery tasks, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual effort.
- Integration and Interoperability: Collaborate with integration teams to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Scripting and Development: Write and maintain JavaScript scripts within the ServiceNow platform. Customize business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and server-side scripts to enhance functionality.
- Collaboration and Requirements Gathering: Engage with IT stakeholders, business analysts, and end-users to gather and understand requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing for developed solutions. Ensure the reliability and performance of ServiceNow configurations and customizations.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for ITSM configurations, customizations, and development activities. Provide training materials and support documentation for end-users.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on ServiceNow platform updates and new ITSM-related features. Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose enhancements proactively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with 5+ years of experience with a strong focus on ITSM.
- ServiceNow Developer or Implementation Specialist certification preferred.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM best practices.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and scripting within the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience with ServiceNow REST and SOAP APIs.
- Experience with the following ServiceNow Modules: Event Management, Performance Analytics, ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, Discovery, Reporting, Catalog and Portal.
- Experience with Plugins, Spokes, Integration hub and use of API to facilitate integrations.
- Experience with ServiceNow AppStudio.
- Experience in SN operational monitoring support, automation, and integration with 3rd party tools.
- Experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, assessing, troubleshooting, resolving, and providing root cause analysis for ServiceNow Product issues.
Certifications (Apart from the MUST certifications, one or more of the following certifications Preferred):
- ITSM Certification is a Must
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

80,000 - 110,000 /year
