Job Summary:
The Service Writer will be responsible taking in customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment to be repaired or assembled and seeing that equipment through the entire repair process. The service writer will effectively communicate with the customer the status of the repairs with empathy and timeliness. Will require direction and guidance from the Service Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for great customer experiences and the success of the Service Department to be profitable while creating a positive work environment.
Effectively communicates with the service manager and other service writer.
Keeps up with all work orders and the status of each technician and their jobs.
Schedules work for technicians in conjunction with the service manager.
Checks on parts orders to ensure jobs are completed on time.
Maintains current knowledge of Kubota Equipment and allied products.
Keeps up with all technician’s billable time on work orders.
Assigns work orders to the appropriate technician in a timely manner.
Stays in constant communication with the customer on their equipment being repaired.
Receives all incoming phone calls to the service department.

Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
Forklift certification preferred but not required.
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years related service experience required.
Valid driver’s license required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Must be cleared by background check.
