Service Technician - Media Real Estate Company

Media Real Estate, A Media, PA-based Property Management Company, is seeking a full-time Service Technician to join our team! This person will join our Service department. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with prior experience in residential and commercial maintenance and repair. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Perform Maintenance & Repairs - Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance issues in rental properties.
• Conduct Routine Inspections - Regularly inspect properties to identify and address potential maintenance concerns before they become major issues.
• Respond to Service Requests - Address tenant maintenance requests promptly and professionally to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Ensure Property Compliance - Maintain rental units according to safety codes, landlord regulations, and company standards.
• Manage Inventory & Tools - Keep track of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient repairs and replacements.
• Coordinate with Vendors & Contractors - Work with third-party vendors for specialized repairs and ensure quality service is provided.
• Maintain Accurate Records - Document maintenance work, repairs, and inspections to track property history and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 3+ years maintenance experience ("jack of all trades" preferred)
• Strong time management skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently
• Strong tenant relations: customer service
• Must have own vehicle and tools - with valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
