Service Technician - Kinetic Personnel Group

We are looking for a full-time Service Technician in Irvine, CA. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot equipment issues in collaboration with tech support and customer care teams.
• Maintain and repair specialized equipment.
• Calibrate and test equipment according to procedures.
• Document errors and issues in an ERP system.
• Communicate equipment problems to the engineering department for resolution.
• Utilize written communication skills across various departments and within ERP systems.
• Interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Perform tasks related to the quality and integrity of products and testing methods.
• Conduct basic circuit analysis.
• Operate tools such as power meters, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Solder components such as resistors and capacitors on PCBs.
• Complete service reports for tested and/or repaired equipment.
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
• Be available for overtime work.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Electronics/Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
• Basic understanding of circuit analysis and proficiency with electrical equipment such as power supplies, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to use various hand tools.
• Strong soldering skills for working with components on PCBs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
• Must be a strong team player and able to work well with others.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Pay: $24-27/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8 hour shift
