II.
We are looking for someone with exceptional character with experience on
piston or jet aircraft. Citation and/or King Air experience is extremely
helpful.

Primary Responsibilities
The Service Technician II is directly responsible to the Maintenance Supervisor for the performance of the Aircraft Maintenance, Repair or Alteration.
- Fully understand and perform all duties and requirements set forth in the Service Technician I Job Description without guidance or oversight.
- Perform standard aircraft inspections and repairs on airframes, engines, propellers, and components with limited oversight and zero rework.
- Mentor those individuals of lessor skill and experience in the application of safe work practices, B.A.T. policies and procedures, and acceptable/desired/expected workmanship and quality standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to navigate and practically apply the AC 43.13 requirements without any oversight or direction when aircraft maintenance manuals fail to provide adequate information.
- Provide schedule updates to the Aircraft Lead or assigned BAT employee to ensure master schedule is continually updated and accurate.
- Respectfully and professionally interact and communicate with internal and external customers as required and as delegated.
- Oversee projects of lessor complexity as directed by the Service Supervisor or management.
- Apply time accurately to work orders and ensure parts required are posted correctly.
- Maintain a supervisor evaluated goal hour productivity rating of 85% or higher .
- Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
SUPPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Navigate and utilize EBis without oversight.
- Navigate and utilize aircraft maintenance, wiring and parts manuals
- Be a positive role model and mentor those individuals of lessor skill and experience in the application of safe work practices, B.A.T. policies and procedures, and acceptable/desired/expected workmanship and quality standards.
- Conduct oneself in a highly professional manner.
- Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment, and tooling when required to support operations.
- Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components when designated.
- Assist in the maintenance and periodic calibration of precision tools and test equipment used by the repair station when designated.
- Adhere to aircraft schedules and shop schedules prior to and during the performance of all repair station functions.
COORDINATING AND COMMUNICATING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate on status and or discrepancies with aircraft in house to include hidden damage or unairworthy items.
- Make proper entries into maintenance logs & work orders.
- Attend department or company meetings and provide various updates as required.
Education and Experience
- High school graduate or equivalency degree required. Airframe and Powerplant FAA license Highly Preferred.
- Knowledge of FARs 43, 91, 135, 145 with Quality system experience preferred.
- Two to Five Years Corporate Aviation Experience with emphasis on Inspection & Repair preferred.
- Minimum of two years Aviation experience required.
Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour
