Description of Responsibilities
The Service Technician is responsible for delivery of, and education in the use of, home medical equipment to client/patients of the Company.

Scope of Supervision
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative include the following:
- Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with client/patients.
- Schedule and deliver home medical equipment and supplies to skilled nursing facilities including third party payers.
- Deliver bed mattresses, oxygen, bath aids, tanks, Tele-healths, and other home care equipment to VA and Medicare clients.
- Demonstrate and explain HME equipment in the client's home and obtain appropriate documentation.
- Obtaining proper paperwork needed for delivery including distributing the color folders with a thorough explanation of documents in the folders.
- Repairing delivered equipment in the field and in the warehouse.
- Understanding of all regulations from DOT, FDA, and Joint Commission.
- Loading and unloading of trucks.
- Checking deliveries received in the warehouse to ensure orders are correct and no damage to deliveries.
- Logging complaints from patients and facilitating follow up.
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle; keeping it stocked with needed supplies for day to day activities.
- Maintain equipment tracking and lot number tracking for oxygen and solutions.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Complete monthly truck inventories and assisting with warehouse inventory as needed.
- Entering equipment obtained from a homebound patient or skilled nursing facility into a log book for repair/cleaning.
- Participate in training classes and in-services when provided.
- Participate in Company committees when requested.
- Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
- Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the General Manager.
- Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with Company policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record for the past three years.
- One year of home medical equipment experience preferred.
