Service Technician - Alarm and Home Automation (Part-Time)

Description of Service Technician - Alarm and Home Automation Position:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced alarm technician that is able to service our residential accounts on a part-time, contract basis. Most of these accounts are Honeywell systems, but that may vary from time to time. This is not a full-time position, but it is a great way to put a little extra cash in your pocket for the month. Plus, you set your own schedule! When we have a customer who needs service we will email you the service ticket. You are then required to contact the customer yourself to schedule an appointment with them for service. You will be shipped any equipment you will need to use forservice calls.

Service Technician - Alarm and Home Automation Responsibilities:

• Service calls to customer homes forhome security, alarm and automation systems
• Low voltage wiring
• Occasionally new installations for customer moves, changes etc.
• Accurately complete service technician paperwork and document account notes
• Reporting and submission of payroll and paperwork as required.
• Provide an excellent customer service experience

What we are looking for:

• Experienced service technicians with prior home security, alarm and home automation installation experience
• Technically inclined
• Organized self-starter
• Excellent customer service skills and attitude

Service Technician Compensation:

Basic services are paid at a flat rate per service or piece rate (add-ons may be applicable). New installs are also paid at a flat rate. Mileage compensation will be added if you have to travel over 50 miles to a service. Apply for more information and compensation details.
