New York Fire Detection, Inc. is on the lookout for a dynamic Service Sales Representative skilled in creating and closing new business opportunities. In this critical role, you'll focus on engaging with Property Managers and Building Owners to secure annual maintenance agreements, utilizing a consultative sales approach. As a trusted advisor, your ability to generate new business through effective cold calling and strategic prospect engagements will drive our success.

- Business Development: Proactively engage with new prospects through cold calling, emails, and site visits, leveraging CRM software to organize and track sales activities.
- Proposal Generation: Understand local codes and Fire & Life Safety Systems to craft customized proposals, identifying opportunities for service enhancement and collaborating with internal teams for innovative solutions.
- Sales Closure: Drive the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing, using effective negotiation skills and internal resources to convert leads into long-term clients while building strong, trust-based relationships.
- Proven B2B sales experience with a strong emphasis on cold calling and new business development.
- Demonstrated success in a competitive sales environment, with experience in construction, electrical, or regulated industries considered a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- A robust intellectual curiosity and a relentless drive to achieve sales goals.
- Highly organized and strategic in managing sales pipelines and client engagements.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred background in the construction industry
- At least 4 years of successful B2B sales experience is required.
- A 4-year Bachelor's Degree or a 2-year Associate Degree with 4 years of B2B sales experience preferred.
