Job Summary:
As a Service Repair Technician for our client, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our dental equipment, ensuring that it operates efficiently and meets the highest quality standards. Your expertise in electronic repair, technical troubleshooting, and familiarity with basic tools will be essential in supporting dental offices across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Electronic Repair and Tech Support:
- Diagnose and repair electronic malfunctions in specified dental equipment.
- Provide technical support to dental professionals, addressing their queries promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with our technical team to resolve complex issues.
- Basic Tools and Soldering:
- Use basic tools (e.g., soldering iron) to perform repairs and maintenance.
- Familiarity with interpreting schematics is a plus.
- Troubleshooting Expertise:
- Analyze equipment issues and troubleshoot down to the root cause.
- Apply problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical problems efficiently.
- Adherence to Plans:
- Follow repair plans and guidelines consistently.
- Ensure that repairs are executed accurately and consistently.
- PC Navigation and Software Integration:
- Navigate PC systems effectively to diagnose and address software-related issues.
- Integrate software updates and enhancements into dental equipment.
- Phone Support:
- Provide remote technical support to dental offices via phone.
- Assist users in resolving minor issues and answering technical queries.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency in using basic tools (e.g., soldering iron, multimeter).
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with PC navigation and software integration.
- Excellent communication skills for phone-based support.
- Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour
- Bonus: Eligible for 5% performance-based bonus
- Weekly hours: 40 hours per week
- Overtime: Overtime Pay is available
