About the Job
The Service Technician will provide service, diagnosis, repair and phone support on various devices, and acting as a technical liaison for clients. 75 % hands on working on returned equipment and 25% of time handling technical support calls
PRIMARY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform maintenance and safety inspections on equipment to ensure effective operating conditions
- Test and calibrate components using a variety of manuals, troubleshooting techniques, and code requirements
- Ensure documentation of repair is complete, timely, and accurate in computer systems
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions with accuracy and precision
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions over the phone directly with clients
- Associate's degree in Electronics or related field, and/or equivalent military training or work experience
- 3+ years relevant experience repair or build of electronics equipment
- Skilled proficiency in the use of test equipment for component level diagnosing
- Ability to interpret electronic circuit diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- RF product experience preferred
- Advanced computer skills
- Great communication skills to handle troubleshooting calls
