Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to meet business needs. This role requires in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- ServiceNow Development and Configuration:
- Design and implement custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
- Configure and customize core ServiceNow modules such as APM, DPR, ITSM, ITOM, and SecOps.
- Develop and maintain business rules, scripts, UI policies, and workflows.
- Solution Design and Architecture:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Develop scalable and reusable solutions aligned with industry best practices.
- Provide guidance on ServiceNow capabilities and recommend optimal solutions.
- Integration and Automation:
- Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, and other APIs.
- Implement automation and orchestration workflows to streamline processes.
- Team Collaboration and Leadership:
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the team.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users and administrators.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer, with a strong focus on platform development and customization.
- Extensive experience with JavaScript, Glide, and other ServiceNow development tools.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow modules, including APM, DPR, ITSM, ITOM, and others.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integration using REST, SOAP, and MID servers.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Mobile and Virtual Agent.
- Familiarity with Integrating external tools (Jira, Clarity, version control and testing tools) and DevOps practices.
