Our team has partnered with a highly respected trucking dealership who is currently seeking a Service Manager to join their team.
Service Manager Qualifications:
- 3+ Service Manager experience in a truck retail, heavy or dealership environment.
- Invoice processing (purchasing, receiving) and organized inventory skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently multi-task.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills. Will need to correspond with customers, colleagues and supervisors promptly and clearly.
- Meets deadlines in fast paced environments (scheduling, employee reviews).
- Ability to work independently and positively within a team.
- $65,000-$75,000/yr Salary with 401K, health, dental and vision benefits.
Responsibilities include:
• Scheduling and assigning jobs and work areas to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledge
• Assists with the development and training of service personnel
• Monitors service sales on a monthly basis to ensure achievement of budgeted sales and profit goals
• Participates in the development and execution of the Corporate Service Marketing Plan
• Ensures all departmental tools, equipment and vehicles are in good working order
• Manages recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position
• Submits all service warranty and Product Improvement Program claims within the required timeframe
