Service Manager - Encore Fire Protection

Encore is an industry leading, full service fire protection company serving customers all throughout the Northeast. This partnership not only allows us to expand our footprint and find top talent in the Maine area, it also allows us to work with industry leaders who strive for same level of excellence as we do.

This continued growth and success has created a need for an Service Manager for our Sprinkler Service team. Our pace is fast and our volume is high which requires a proactive personality type. Responsibilities: 

• Serve as a knowledge hub for our technicians, providing guidance to navigate intricate service calls with expert recommendations
• Offer strategic product suggestions to empower our Deficiency Sales Team in accurately quoting system repairs and suggesting remediation step
• Effectively communicate with our customers, and taking ownership for resolving service related issues
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the service team, fostering growth in technical and industry-specific expertise
• Engage proactively in initiatives to retain customers, boost revenue, and enhance overall departmental profitability
• Partner closely with the Operations Manager and Director to set clear financial and operational goals
• Perform on-site visits to job sites to guarantee the punctuality and efficacy of projects

Skills:

• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, suppression systems, and codes/regulations related to fire safety.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire a team of technicians, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and safety.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex issues with fire protection systems and develop effective solutions efficiently.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, understand their needs, and ensure satisfaction through prompt and effective resolution of issues
• Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, from scheduling and resource allocation to budgeting and quality control.
• Training and Development: Capability to train and mentor technicians, enhancing their technical skills and industry knowledge to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and environments in a dynamic industry with evolving technology and regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in any combination of field, sales, design, operations and/or management
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, operations management, or a related field preferred.
