About the Job
Selectek is looking for a Service Manager in Lagrange, GA who will be responsible for managing the service departments in USA and Mexico. Primary task is to interface with the customer to develop lasting relationships and manage the service team members. Service Manager will maintain a strong working knowledge of all applicable industry standards and practices as well as the company’s products and services.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or similar field), Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred
- 10 years of Engineering or equivalent experience
- Supply Chain, Sales (Inside/Outside), Customer Service and Manufacturing experience required
- 5 years of Management experience required
- Proven experience in project management or methodologies of large projects (>$1 million)
- PMP certification preferred
- Strong PC aptitude and skills with Microsoft products such as: Office and MS Project
- Mechanically inclined and proficient with interpreting mechanical drawings
- CRM and ERP system experience required. Merlin (CRM) and Microsoft AX (ERP) preferred
- Must have excellent analytical and communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong emphasis as a team player that thrives in a cooperative team environment and presents themselves in a polished professional manner
- Proven leadership in continuous improvement systems and process optimization.
- Working knowledge of Spanish preferred
Job Details:
- Lead a team of Service Technicians, Coordinators and Administrator in USA and Mexico
- Delegate and direct service tasks, while monitoring the progress of current projects, and managing service team members to ensure the team’s objectives and company’s goals are met
- Handle customer complaints, concerns, and warranty requests quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers
- Assist with or performing administrative tasks as needed. Tasks include but not limited to invoices, financial analysis of jobs, departmental financial reporting, etc.
- Resolve service issues, improving service methods to increase productivity and customer service
- Maintain strong relationship with inside sales, outside sales, 3rd party partners, engineering, and project management teams
- Establish and maintain a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations, and remaining current on the industry's standards and new innovations, materials, tools, and processes
- Help train new employees in line with company procedures and standards
- SOME TRAVEL NECESSARY
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 annual salary depending on experience
Eligible for up to 7.5% annual bonus (depending on results of the plan). It would for sure not be anything less than up to 7.5%.
Location of Job: LaGrange, GA (moving to Hogansville next year)
Hours & Shift: Monday to Friday 8AM – 5PM, some flex could be possible 7AM – 4PM
Overtime: yes, possible but not excessive
Work from home or remote: some - says they have realized that it boosts company morale and helps with retention to allow them to work from home several days per week but that needs to be discussed with manager
