Our Client, a growing equipment service company, is looking for a Service Manager ins Abilene, TX.
This position is a working position – integral in the daily job management and mechanics dispatching. Responsible for 3 locations and 9 mechanics that are dispatched over the overall territory.
Salary Range: $65-$100k (flexible/based on experience) + BONUS + Benefits
Responsibilities: Responsible for 3 locations and 9 mechanics that are dispatched over the overall territory. Individual job review and dispatching – daily job review – next step planning and management – daily job billing – daily job / mechanic review of time – weekly production management and mechanic accountability with team leaders (foreman) – daily review of estimates to ensure accuracy – constant customer communication. There are support staff that can q up and support, but effective job management and billing starts and ends with this position. This position partners with a Service Director who is focused on training and in-field support of mechanics.
Requirements: 5 years’ experience in an equipment service management role Experience working with or knowledge of heavy equipment. Outgoing and capable of defusing tense situations. Willing and able to support walk in customers. Good working knowledge of business metrics and financial data for the areas indicated in the scope of work. Has worked with a work order / billing system and comfortable with computers and or programs that are required in day-to-day business operations.
