We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Service Manager for our Fire Alarm & Security department in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals, manage high-level projects, and ensure the safety and security of our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field service, project management, and security systems. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Fire Alarm & Security department. Your key duties will include:
1. Managing and scheduling the work of the field service team to ensure efficient operation and high-quality service delivery.
2. Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm and security systems.
3. Leading and managing security projects, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
4. Hiring, training, and developing field service staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
5. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
6. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
7. Developing and implementing strategies for operational efficiency and growth.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a service management role, preferably in the fire alarm and security field.
2. Proven experience in field service management, including scheduling, project management, and staff supervision.
3. Strong knowledge of fire alarm and security systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of hiring, training, and developing high-performing teams.
5. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
8. A commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
