Service Manager Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the service department, ensuring exceptional service delivery that exceeds customer expectations.
- Foster a team environment that encourages personal and professional growth, emphasizing our family-oriented culture.
- Lead a team of field service technicians- overseeing all scheduling, installations and repairs.
- Train team on new industry standards
- Train and lead the team to record first time fix rates
- Manage warranties and claims.
- Manage Service Inventory and Fleet.
- Engage in strategic planning and implementation, processing complex information to develop clear, actionable plans.
- Serve as a proven leader passionate about developing a customer-centric approach while navigating and influencing positive changes in the industry.
Service Manager Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and industry experience.
- Engineering, technical, or business-related degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in air compressor, HVAC or related industries.
- CAGI certification is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the industrial air compressor business.
- Experience in controls and PLCs.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, capable of driving, leading, and inspiring teams in a dynamic environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Deep passion for the compressed air industry and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex situations.
- Previous P&L experience
- Process Improvement experience.
