Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Service Logistics Manager to lead and oversee the distribution, inventory, and servicing logistics of our innovative laser machines for skin treatments. This role ensures that service operations are optimized to exceed customer expectations and meet regulatory requirements.
Job Duties
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to support after-sales services, including repair parts distribution and service technician support.
- Manage spare parts inventory levels and ensure efficient replenishment to avoid downtime in customer service operations.
- Oversee the global distribution network for service logistics, including vendor relationships and contract negotiations with service providers.
- Ensure compliance with medical device regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO standards) for storage and transportation of parts and equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to address product-related service needs.
- Analyze service data to identify trends, optimize service logistics operations, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Monitor and report on logistics KPIs, such as on-time service delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency.
- Manage the budget for service logistics, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Support the implementation of logistics process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in service logistics, preferably in the medical device or manufacturing sector.
- Proven expertise in managing complex logistics networks and service operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Familiarity with ERP and service management systems.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical equipment logistics.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
