We are looking for a Service Department Manager to lead our service support and scheduling departments. This person is responsible for leading a team responsible for scheduling service technicians, providing quotes, managing warranties & inventory procurement, and ensuring top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for the fitness industry.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the service team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Training & Development: Develop and oversee training programs for our Service Support & Scheduling team to master cross-functional skillsets.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze service department metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Customer Service: Ensure best-in class customer service practices by working with the Service Team to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Scheduling & Dispatch: Oversee the coordination and scheduling of service technicians, ensuring efficient and timely service delivery.
- Warranty Management: Oversee warranty claims and processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and manufacturer guidelines.
- Quotation Preparation: Prepare and manage service quotes for clients, providing clear and accurate pricing information.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory of parts and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels for service needs.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all service activities comply with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a technical service industry, preferably the fitness equipment service industry.
- Leadership Skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Communication Proficiency: Strong ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Organizational Proficiency: Capable of identifying and prioritizing tasks to meet company and client goals.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift over 50 lbs and adapt to physical demands of an office job.
- Independence and Responsibility: Capable of working autonomously with a commitment to professionalism and detail.
- License and CRM Skills: Must possess a valid driver’s license and preferably have experience with CRM software, especially Salesforce.

LOCATION
The Service Department Manager role is a 5-days a week (Monday-Friday) onsite position located out of LIVunLtd's office in Huntersville, NC.
