Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new and current clients regarding service inquiries, project updates, and issue resolution. This includes time and materials service calls as well
- Coordinate and schedule installation appointments, ensuring that all necessary materials and personnel are available
- Determine permit needs and secure any necessary permits
- Track the progress of orders and ensure timely completion of projects
- Monitor inventory levels of sign materials and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted service
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, installation schedules, and client communications in the company database
- Assist in preparing quotes and proposals for service requests
- Seeks bids from sub-contractors to fit gross margin, budget requirements and customer specifications
- Providing clients with clear and detailed information. This will include job site visits to conduct technical surveys for scope definition
- Conduct follow-ups with clients post-installation to gather feedback and address any concerns
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project statuses, service challenges, and process improvements
- Work with National Sign Companies to gain their business by contacting, quoting and managing the work that they offer in regard to service needs
- Coordinates the return goods back to vendors
- Works with accounting to set billing procedures and practices
- Other duties assigned by management
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a customer service or coordination role, preferably in the signage or service industry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM software
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Maintain an active driver's license in good standing
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in project, construction or business management
- Knowledge of project management principles and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics
- Experience with inventory management systems
- 2+ years experience in the signage industry or familiarity with sign production processes
- Experience working with a project scheduling/reporting tool, preferably BuildOps
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
Physical demands within this position include but are not limited to frequent standing, sitting, walking, listening, talking, using the telephone, focusing, and climbing different types of ladders and stairs, using depth perception, working in different weather conditions and the use of hands to handle or touch objects or controls. Local travel to various worksites is required at least 30%. Long periods of time spent on the computer, using the telephone, stooping, bending, reaching above shoulders, and walking on uneven surfaces at job sites may be required. PPE is mandatory on job sites.
