About Us In February of 2004, two mechanical engineers teamed together to form Goforth Williamson, Inc. With over 30 years of rotating equipment experience between them, Travis and David focused on developing GWI into a customer-oriented service company. Since that time, GWI has grown to a company with over 50 full-time employees. The employees of GWI are specialists in their fields. They have a vast knowledge of pumping equipment and the applications they are used in. The employees have experience from Original Equipment Manufacturers, motor shops, contractors, machine shops and other rotating equipment repair facilities.
Summary: This position will work with all Engineering Departments, Accounting, Shop Managers, and Scheduling to ensure excellent customer service for our customers and vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage a multi-line Phone System.
- Assist in the managing of Service Job files.
- Manage the entry, updating and filing of Purchase Orders by communicating with the vendors and Engineering department.
- Manage the entry, updating and filing of Vendor Bills in a timely manner.
- Assist with Accounting department as needed to ensure financials are up to date.
- Assist with the organization and streamline of Office Policies and Procedures. Other duties as assigned/needed.
Job Qualifications
- Well Organized and able to prioritize work.
- Time Management Skill. Excellent communication skills.
- Must work well with others.
- Good Computer skills - proficient in Microsoft products and a willingness to learn other programs as needed.
