About the Job
Our client is a leading provider in the oil & gas and biotechnology industries and is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join their team. The Service Coordinator will play a critical role in managing service requests, scheduling technician assignments, and ensuring seamless communication between clients and the service team. This role is vital in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Request Management:
- Receive, prioritize, and manage service requests from clients.
- Log all requests in the service management system, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
- Scheduling & Technician Assignments:
- Coordinate the scheduling of field technicians for service calls, ensuring timely response and resolution of client issues.
- Monitor technician availability and workload to optimize assignments and response times.
- Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the service team, providing regular updates on service requests, scheduling, and resolution timelines.
- Proactively communicate with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Work closely with the operations and service teams to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to company protocols.
- Continuously seek ways to improve service processes, reduce response times, and enhance customer experience.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a service coordination or customer service role, preferably within the oil & gas or biotechnology industries.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with service management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with field service teams or technical support departments.
- Knowledge of supply chain operations and service coordination in the oil & gas or biotechnology industries is a plus.
