Job Description
As a Service Coordinator, you will be the vital link between our clients and our team of technicians. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that service requests are promptly addressed and efficiently managed from start to finish. You will play a crucial role in maintaining open communication with customers, dispatching work orders to the appropriate subcontractors, and monitoring the progress of each job to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
The ideal candidate should possess excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in using various software applications to manage work orders and customer data. Service Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter and dispatch work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure work orders are received and acknowledged by subcontractors.
- Verify scheduled times and dates for service appointments.
- Maintain detailed and accurate notes in the system regarding customer correspondence and subcontractor updates.
- Respond promptly to incoming phone calls and inquiries.
- Close completed service calls in the system and update customer portals.
- Effectively manage the dashboard and ensure compliance with customer and company SLAs.
- Provide support for purchasing and accounts payable/receivable processes as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the operations team.
Service Coordinator Required Experience/Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to pass drug and background screenings.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong time management and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities.
- Positive attitude and respectful communication style.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in a service-related industry or role.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software or systems.
