Description/Purpose of Role: Make sure that the club is clean and all areas are supplied at all times. Assist members with any questions or inquiries they might have.

Responsibilities:

• The Housekeeping House Person is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel
• Address guest's needs in a professional, positive, and timely matter
• Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting, using the guest's name when possible
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell
• Respond promptly to requests from guests, Housekeeping Manager and Front Desk via Radio and mobile technology
• Wear a radio and Earpiece at all times for communication purposes
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow Material Safety Data Sheets and OSHA standards
• Follow all established departmental COVID-19 guidelines and SOPs
• Ensure a railroad checklist is followed so that the scheduled daily, weekly, monthly/deep cleaning is complete and because of the active environment of this hotel be aware of opportunities for deep cleaning needed in assigned area
• Preventative maintenance of operating equipment used in housekeeping
• Move, lift, carry and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance
• Move through narrow, confined or elevated spaces
• Move up and down a ladder
• Maintain periodic cleaning of the public areas hallways, elevators, landings and any other assigned areas as needed
• Move at a speed that is required to respond to work situations
• Complete daily assignment/not limited to...
• Vacuum Guest Corridors daily
• Wipe down all walls, pictures, and tables daily (i.e elevator tracks/etc.)
• Spot Clean Carpet when necessary
• Complete daily special project - Per MOD
• Take out trash / change trash liners when needed
• Organize dirty linen
• Make sure guest corridors are clean and clear of all debris at all time
• Keep the Linen Closet clean and organized
• Manage and organize all guest request items
• Post caution signs (e.g. wet floor signs) to limit traffic when necessary
• Ensure that all metros with dirty linen are ready and staged for the scheduled delivery from the linen company, deliver the dirty and bring in the clean linen, sort and organize and evenly distribute it to the assigned floors
• Perform other duties as requested by management
• Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect
• Assist individuals with disabilities, including assisting visually, hearing or physically impaired individuals with guidelines (e.g. escorting them when requested, using words to explain actions, writing directions on paper, moving objects out of the way, or offering access to Braille or TDD phones)
• Select appropriate cleaning chemicals and necessary personal protective equipment for various surfaces and cleaning jobs, following OSHA regulations and corporate Standards
• Ensure that the Elevators, buttons inside and outside the elevator and tracks are cleaned and sanitized throughout the day

Relationships and Roles: Works closely with all departments in the club as their role is integrated throughout the club. Reports to the Director of Services.

Goals: Have the club look meticulous at all times.

Assist members preferably prior to them asking; like have gym clothing out prior to appointment.
